We carry an extensive line of treated southern yellow pine. This includes dimensions such as 2×4-2×12, 8-20 foot and a large selection of 4×4, 6×6, and 8×8’s.
Samples taken from each charge are analyzed to ensure consistent quality of the treatment. Tarped trucks, indoor storage, multiple inspections, automated handling equipment, and consistent treatment practices are all measures that ensure customers get bright, freshly processed material on every order.
All of our wood is treated with mold inhibitor as well as preservative. We also provide wood that is dried after treatment via two propane powered dry kilns. All dried-after-treatment material is covered with a weather-resistant wrapping.
We stock a full line of treated southern yellow pine, #1 and #2 dimension, timbers, and decking. Kiln drying is optional.
Once inspected, lumber is immediately stored indoors. Standard metal bands are replaced with synthetic ones that snugly secure bundles with less damage to the wood. A hydraulic squeezer then squares the bundles for better handling and more attractive appearance on the retail yard.
Our line of pressure treated pine fence posts are cut to lengths of 7′, 8′, and 10′, ranging in diameter from 3″ to over 8″. After our raw material is debarked, cut to length and peeled, it is electronically scanned for diameter accuracy and sorted into the corresponding bay. The posts are then counted, bundled and labeled before placement on our 10 acres of storage space. Our product is allowed to season for a period of time depending on post size and weather conditions. Once the post is dry it can then be treated and made ready for shipment.
Our normal in-stock items include round, half-round, faced and sharpened posts. Special cuts are available upon request.
